Verso una casa

Arianna Pasini

Verso una casa is Arianna Pasini's achievement of artistic maturity: a project that bridges the gap space between singer-songwriter and indie-rock, made of honest words and refined productions.

After more than 10 years from the writing of the first song, here is finally her debut album, released last 15 March 2024, for Brutture Moderne, Crinale Lab and Urlaub Dischi, with the support of Emilia Romagna MusicCommission and distributed by Believe Italia.

A growth process that was not corrupted by the adrenaline collected on the most diverse stages formations (Generic Animal, Andrea Poggio, Soviet Soviet, Any Other to name a few), but which, on the contrary, he taught the artist from  Ravenna to treat each piece in a sartorial manner.

The album reflects the person Arianna is: a Spectator who does not like being the center of attention, but that she  attracts her when she picks up a guitar. Her light timbre, until now set aside in favor of her acumen as a musician makes her immediately recognizable in the sea of music Contemporary.

The album is frank and sincere: each piece is based on moments of real life that Arianna describes with lyrics simple and accessible. In the precariousness of an artist's life, the search for a home is also crossed by moments when you are forced to make yourself your home, wherever you are, with people who love you they love and who is loved. The  home that Arianna seeks is nothing other than the stability we all need, an imperturbability that only inner peace can give.

Verso una casa is a moment of intimacy that requires a predisposition to listen. The peculiarity of Arianna is the almost obsessive attention to detail, from the choice of iconic vintage instruments, to the vocal registers that they alternate in the tracklist. To complete the work, she is the expert guide to the productions of Francesco Giampaoli and Marco Giudici, who together with Generic Animal, signs some songs as second voice.

The peak of liveliness is Gravità, a psychedelic waltz in which Arianna tries her hand at an extravagant instrumental and syncopated, which takes the earth from under your feet: you are as if catapulted into a dream, or into the delirium of a circus with an uncovered tent revealing an eccentric firmament. In its complexity, the record inspires sincere hugs, the kind you never want to let go of. The limping rhythms simulate the fragility of a world that to implement true revolutions, instead of looking in the mirror, would need more tenderness and sensitivity.

The release of the album was preceded by the singles Burrone, Tempo and Colla.
